Legal Content Development & Updates

CHEMDOX includes a comprehensive set of regulations for SDS authoring, chemical management and other applications. Classification support is available in the software for all of these regulations. Depending on the specific regulation, classifications are calculated, data is matched, or documents are generated automatically.

  • All regulations are monitored, checked and updated during our regular software updates
  • Additional regulations are implemented regularly based on a best practice approach and customer requirements

≈50 Country Packages

≈50 Country Packages

CHEMDOX country packages provide all you need to generate safety data sheets for specific countries on a best practice level.

  • Relevant chemicals law (dangerous substance regulation)
  • Relevant transportation law (dangerous goods regulation)
  • Relevant national regulations (workplace exposure limits, biological limit values and, if required, additional regulations on a best practice level)
  • Relevant language(s) in the CHEMDOX phrase catalog for document generation including the relevant legal wording (H- and P-phrases, SDS headings, etc.)
  • Relevant SDS structure in the template, taking into account the national legal requirements

With CHEMDOX you will author SDSs for foreign markets at the same quality level as you are used to doing for your home market. SDSs are not just translated, but rather migrated, taking into account other countries’ specific requirements.

Specific Regulations

Specific Regulations

In addition to the 'standard' regulations included in the country packages, CHEMDOX offers additional industry-specific regulations (e.g. aerosols, etc.) depending on your specific needs.
